SECTION ¥° LISTENING COMPREHENSION
Directions for Questions 1~25
For each of these questions, you will hear four sentences. They will be
said only once. They are not written in your testbook. You have to listen
carefully in order to understand what the speaker says. While you are listening
to the four sentences, look at the picture in your testbook and choose the
one sentence that best describes what on see in picture. Then, on your answer
sheet, find the number of the problem and mark your answer. Look at the
sample picture in your testbook. Now listen to the four sentences.

Sentence B, "The door of the bus is open" best describes what
you see in the picture. Therefore, you should mark answer B.
Directions for Questions 26~45
For each of these questions, you will hear a sentence. It will be said only
once. In your testbook, you will find four sentences marked A, B, C, and
D. After you hear the complete sentence, read the four sentences and mark
the letter of the sentence that is exactly the same as the one you have
heard.
Here is the first example.

Directions for Questions 46~57
Look at the map on the opposite page. Starting at the top of the page and
moving down read all the names of the streets. Now, again starting at the
top of the map, look at each building and read the words that tell what
kind of building it is. You will also see four cars marked A, B, C, and
D. Find these cars now and notice which way each car is going(north, south,
east, or west). For each question, you will hear the conversations between
two people. You must decide in which car the conversation is taking place.
For example, you will hear :

The park is on Sea Road between Ford Avenue and Singer Avenue. Car D is
on Grant Street going toward Ford Avenue. Car D will turn right on Ford.
The park will be on the right. The correct answer is D.
